Lead futures were Trading Higher During Noon trade

Base Metal Tips - Lead futures were trading higher during noon trade in the domestic market on Monday as investors and speculators booked fresh positions in the industrial metal amidst a pickup in physical demand for Lead in the domestic market.

A rebound in German factory orders in October signaled a fastening recovery in Europe’s biggest economy, bolstering the demand outlook for the industrial metal. German factory bookings climbed for the first time in four months, up by 1.8 per cent in October over the previous month, while industrial output rose 0.2 per cent from September, when it had dipped 1.1 per cent.

At the MCX, Lead futures for December 2015 contract is trading at Rs 113.10 per 1 kg, up by 0.22 per cent after opening at Rs 112.80, against the previous closing price of Rs 112.85. It touched the intra-day high of 113.40.
