Shares of Eros International Media slumped about 10 per cent in Wednesday's trade after the company reported a 65 per cent decline in Q3 profit. The company's net profit for the quarter ending December 30 stood at Rs 37.77 crore against Rs 109.34 crore reported for the same quarter of last financial year.
Reacting to the earnings, the scrip fell 9.59 per cent to hit a low of Rs 180 on the BSE.
Net sales during the period under review fell 31.65 per cent to Rs 335.38 crore against Rs 395.34 crore in the corresponding period last financial year, the company said in a filing to BSE.
