Bullion Metal Gold Down 0.07% on Dollar Strengthening

Gold futures were trading lower during the morning trade in the domestic market on Friday as the US dollar strengthened on rise in demand for the American currency from importers amid foreign fund outflows.

At the MCX, gold futures for August 2016 contract is trading at Rs 31,860 per 10 grams, down by 0.07 per cent, after opening at Rs 31,875, against a previous close of Rs 31,881. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 31,832 .
